Always try to avoid overexposing your skin to the sun, but if you do get sunburned, use this soothing oil to relieve the discomfort. Keep in mind you should never apply it before any exposure to the sun, because St. John’s wort is known for being photosensitizing. You can also use this oil blend to ease the pain of shingles.
- 1 tsp calendula oil,
- 1 tsp St. John’s wort oil,
- 2 drops lavender essential oil.
Makes enough for 1 treatment
